On October 18th, the Psych Media Discussion Group covered Fair Play by Eve Rodsky. Our expert discussant, Brittany Booth, MD of CalPsychiatry facilitated our conversation.
During this discussion, Dr. Brittany Booth offered insight she gained from the Fair Play book and documentary and how the material can help partners break away from the traditional male/female roles within the family construct. She noted the Fair Play system does not have to be an all-or-nothing program; its baseline principles can assist a couple with making choices together and asking for help. Also discussed were examples of how one partner can honor the other with simple gestures and actions.
