On Thursday, November 16th, Peggy O’Donnell Heffington, PhD, joined us to discuss her book, “Without Children: The Long History of Not Being a Mother.” Accompanying her was CalPsychiatry’s own psychiatrist, Beatrice Rabkin, MD, who served as an expert discussant.

Dr. Heffington, a renowned professor at the University of Chicago, brought her expertise in gender and women’s history to the forefront, offering unique insights from her book.
